Powder Coating is specified by architects and designers because of its durability compared to liquid paint. The finishes are resistant to scratches, corrosion, chemical contact and weathering. The powder is applied electro-statically and is then cured under high heat to allow it to form a “skin” over the surface. It is normally used to produce a finish that is more durable than conventional paint and is primarily used for the coating of metals, such as fencing, roller shutters, rails & gates etc. Solray powder coating offers an ideal solution for a wide range of applications.

The Process
Our process offers a full pre-treatment of iron phosphate primer prior to coating via a conveyor system which ensures all items are thoroughly degreased, pre treated and dried prior to being coated in your designated colour. This system provides us with the flexibility to ensure our customer needs are met regardless of the batch quantity, be it large volume or industrial items.
